Come along to the Fatfur Meet Feast, and be sure to bring an appetite! A social event with plenty of snacks for all furs with a bit of extra fluff, and those who admire them too.
A follow on from previous Fatfur meets at Scotiacon, we are looking to host a pleasant event with a ton of snacks to give some appreciation to the bigger furs in the community.
We had a rather good attendance in Scotiacon '24 and for this year, the reins have been passed to me to take over the meet. We already have an existing group chat set up with over 50 members, and there has definitely been a lot of anticipation for the coming year, where hopefully the meet can be a bit more extravagant. Plans are currently to have goodie bags for meet attendees, with badges and other surprises. Along with a lot of pizza, sugary treats, and drinks for folks to enjoy. However, these will rely on the budget we can muster for the event.
At heart though, what will happen regardless of budget, is that this is just supposed to be a safe space for Fatfurs to have some snacks and chat with others, hopefully making some new friends in the process.

Last year was my first Scotiacon, and I put a lot of effort and good chunk of my own money into assisting the Fatfur Meet to make it the best it could be. This resulted in the previous years host handing down control of the meet to myself as they knew it was something I was very passionate about, and I wish to prove them right and make this year's meet event better.
